Cedric Diggory was born in 1978 and attended Hogwarts school for witchcraft and wizardry from 1989 – 1995. He is described as extremely good looking, tall with dark hair, grey eyes and a straight nose. He was sorted in to the Hufflepuff house which means he is true, loyal, brave and kind, a true friend. He is athletic, the seeker, and captain, on the Hufflepuff quidditch team, managing to beat Harry to the snitch during one of their matches. His athletic and academic abilities were proven when he was selected over all other entrants to be the Hogwarts Champion during the Tri-Wizard tournament in his fifth year. This was the same year he won the heart of Cho Chang, much to the disappointment of Harry, they appear to have had a very strong connection as Cho is continually upset over his tragic demise. In his fifth year at the end of the Final Task of the Tri-Wizard tournament Cedric is murdered by Lord Voldemort through the unforgivable “Avada Kedavra” curse.
