Robert Pattinson, hailing from London England, was born May 13 1986. Growing up he was a highly skilled sportsman, taking part in everything from football and athletics to skiing and snowboarding. He also had a taste for music, reportedly and excellent musician playing guitar and keyboards.
Robert first got the acting bug around 15 years old when he started doing amateur plays. He then moved on to join the Barnes Theatre Club and took on stage roles in Macbeth, Anything Goes and Tess of the D’Urbevilles. Robert’s first screen role was in the German made for TV Movie Ring of the Nibelungs (also known as Kingdom In Twilight) as Giselher. He then took on the role of Rawdy Crawley in the Reese Witherspoon movie Vanity Fair.
In 2003 Robert landed the coveted role of Cedric Diggory in the fourth installment of the Harry Potter movies, The Goblet Of Fire. Robert met the director, Mike Newell in late 2003 and was the first person seen for the role of Cedric, making the call back and getting the part only a week later.
Robert was named British Star of Tomorrow by Times Online in 2005, with his oozing charm and likeability we can expect to see much more of him in the future.
