As you may have already heard, George Clooney is heading up a telethon on Jan. 22 to raise disaster relief funds for the Caribbean nation.
Pattinson, I’m told, is on the top of everyone’s list to take part in what will likely be an A-list effort…
Organizers, a source reveals, are aiming high and will be asking for Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner to take part.
It’s too early to say what—if anything—the world’s most famous vampire movie stars will do, but a source close to Stewart tells me, “She’d jump at the chance to do something to help.”

Last week Stephenie Meyer appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show to talk about the ‘Twilight’ series books, ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’, and her cast members Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Below is what she had to say about Rob!
She found Robert Pattinson to have an extremely unique and significantly featured face. She noted his ability to turn heads at the outset, and she also said that Pattinson, when he came into make-up as Edward Cullen, really brought to life some of the images she’d had in her own head of the character. She noted that Pattinson is a funny person and that he really transforms from the “Rob” of everyday to the character in a significant way.
Having just made his way out to the east coast, Robert Pattinson was back on the promotional run in New York City on Wednesday (November 18).
The Edward Cullen hunk dropped by the “Late Show with David Letterman” to boost hype for his new flick, “New Moon,” which hits theaters on Friday (November 20).
In honor of the release of ‘New Moon’, LifeSource, Chicagoland’s Blood Center, is hosting a special New Moon themed blood drive event on Saturday, October 24 at the Holiday Inn in Naperville, located at the corner of Diehl Road and Naperville Road, the LifeSource blood drive will be held from eight AM to eight PM. The event will feature a limited appearance by Twilight: Eclipse star Booboo Stewart (”Seth
Clearwater”).
The first 250 donors who schedule an appointment for the drive at www.lifesource.org and present to donate blood will receive a free pair of tickets to a special midnight screening of Twilight:New Moon at either the Hollywood Boulevard Cinema in Woodridge, IL or the Hollywood Palms Cinema in Naperville, IL on Nov. 19, 2009, the night prior to the opening day of the movie’s release. These will be one of the first public showings of the film.
The next 250 donors that register for an appointment at www.lifesource.org and present to donate will receive a free single ticket to the midnight screening and a wristband to meet Booboo Stewart in person between two PM to four PM at the blood drive and receive one signed autograph photo. Additional single tickets to the midnight screenings are available while supplies last to donors
who show up and donate the day of the blood drive as a “walk-in.”
